I know I have yet to get back to Laura Branigan's Touch, today is still the birthday of another favorite singer, Belinda Carlisle. I have loved her work since "Heaven Is A Place On Earth." Carlisle's signature red hair and stylish glamour, evocative of the great Ann-Margret, go well with her distinctive voice.
Rather than going on and on about the reasons why I love her work, let me just wish the person of Belinda Carlisle a Happy Birthday.

Hi Phil....I had revisited JP's post on Brit and saw your comment under mine....yup, the same Jackson Browne that was dumped by Darryl....but, it was a long time before JFK, Jr. she made a mistake in my opinion....Jackson is irreplaceable!
